Do not use a plastic terry cloth on top of our mattresses, as this will have a negative effect on the unique effects of the wool. <BR>Rather use a top mattress as protection of the mattress. <BR>This concerns all types of mattresses. At that, plastic is an unpleasant material to sleep on. <BR><BR>We have three types of top mattresses: <BR>• Treated wool double (thermo)<BR>• Padded wool on cotton fabric double (thermo)<BR>• wool fleece <BR><BR>They are all equipped with elastic bands for fastening under the mattress. <BR><BR>The wool is washed, but beyond that it is untreated. If the “self cleaning” effect is wanted, lanoline may be added to the two types without cotton fabric <BR>(see under DIAPERS above). <BR><BR>Top mattresses can be machine laundered – attend to the washing instructions! </p>
